Sometimes the problem is too big to be helped by a friend. The past week is an example.

In this case, it will take the whole country. We are not in the year 5784 B C E.

We will need someone to coordinate the help we call this person a politician.

If only it were so simple. Notice examples of government spending our money elsewhere, e.g., Ukraine, instead of "caring" for the people who pay taxes in a region. If only the people of the southeast lived oversees they might fare better. I'm sure that $750 they're getting from FEMA really warms the heart

If you check a little more closely if the amount is $750 it is the start only.

There is more coming. There is food water temp housing The money going to Ukraine

is not coming from FEMA account. People without flood insurance will get a lot more money but probably not enough to make them whole but enough to help.

As far as help is concerned this is the country to be in when help is needed.
