Two announcements!
New project aims to promote human flourishing
The 2500-year-old writings called the Tao Te Ching is often used as a self-help book. If you want to be a better parent, spouse, business partner, or friend, the ancient Chinese sage Lao Tzu seems to have a lot to offer.
But when I read the Tao Te Ching, I came across something else entirely: a thesis for how people in power (and those subject to that power) should be. Whether you consider yourself liberal, conservative, or somewhere in the middle, I believe you’ll find a lot of useful ideas in the book. Lao Tzu’s advice fits neatly into the modern context; to ignore it would, I think, be a real disservice.
