Thanks Wayne, I watched all the way to the end. Pretty good follow through. I didn't know the Annabelle Green story. Looked it up and found that she is still alive dealing with her ailment. I don't know the details of the government's role or the role insurance played in her treatment. What it brings to mind is the social media influencers who recently posted test results that showed a high probability their unborn child was going to have down syndrome. Based on their reaction to this news, it seemed highly likely they had made the choice to abort in advance if the test results indicated something like this. Because they acted as if the baby had already died. The correlation being that someone else is making a decision on whether your life has value, whether your life is worth living. There's someone or some entity out there that was saying Annabelle's life isn't worth living, it's too expensive, it doesn't have value, and because of that we are going to deny her the options she needs to continue to live. It's too expensive, her costs outweigh her benefits, and furthermore we're going to make her expensive treatment illegal. At the core of it, I cannot tell the difference between the eugenics programs implemented by every vile regime in the history of the world and the one that denies another's God given natural right to exist. Because at the core of it, someday, someone could look at my life and say that's not a life worth living and because I deem your life unacceptable, the remedy is to extinguish your life.
